37 Weeks, 16 days left to go!!

The countdown is officially on! Lily is growing a mile a minute and my belly just can't keep up with her. These days she practices her skills on my ribs! I'm sure you can imagine that this is not the greatest feeling in the world! However, it does help me keep track of how strong she is getting. Each day she is more and more ready to enter the world. :) It's hard to believe that in just two weeks we will be the parents of a newborn baby girl... I guess we should get in one last date night while we still can. LOL

We had a check up at the doctor's office today where they told us just what we expected, Lily is doing great, strong heartbeat (145 beats), and growing right on track, BUT....is very comfortable in mommy's belly and not at all anxious to leave her current abode. :) So it looks like we are in for the long haul. James and I went for a nice long walk this evening and we intend to keep on walking until Little Miss decides she is ready to enter the world. :)

It's officially summer today, and with school out there is only so much I can do to keep myself occupied at 9 months pregnant so I am really enjoying my creative side while I still have the time & energy to do so! I have been working up an idea for a t-shirt for Christian for some time now but the design just wouldn't come to me, until today! The trick was to design something not too kiddish and quite boy. I think it came out pretty well. What do you think??

Package of Love from GrandPam & Johnnie

Lily received quite the package today from GrandPam! Daddy sure enjoyed it! :)

Bye-Bye Tundra

This weekend James said good-bye to his love, the Tundra, and hello to his new love, the Sorento! Ever since we met James has loved his Tundra like no other car he's had but lately the Tundra has been a little more than we can handle. The economy alone has made it hard to drive the truck with gas prices at all time highs, but the gas we had under control, the troubles came with the maintenance. So, James did some searching and absolutely fell in love with the 2011 Sorento. Buying a new car at this point was scary for us but luckily we know a few great people who really made the whole experience easy for us! We never thought we would own a Kia but you should see the smile on James' face! It sure is his pride and joy...for the next 3 weeks anyway until his little girl arrives :)

Here's the new ride! Definitely a family car and pretty luxurious if I do say so myself! :) As you can see, it didn't take long for him to dress her up! :) GO NOLES!

We will miss you Tundra...

Summer of Learning :)

So I have had this idea in mind for quite some time now...I've seen these cute little stickers all over the internet and I just had to make some for Lily! The only question was could I really do it! LOL I enjoy playing on PhotoShop but my self taught abilities only go so far! :) I will admit it was stressful, and it sure took some time, but I DID IT!!

Take a look!! I made them all the way through 12 months...

Once I got the hang of the idea I couldn't make one for Lily without making one for her cousins as well!

Now we just need these precious little babies to arrive so we can doll them up!!

Weighing in...

We had a fabulous 35 week visit at the Dr.'s office today. James, Christian, & I all got to see Lily's beautiful face one more time before she is born! :) Everything checks out great measurement wise. Lily is weighing in at 6lbs 4 oz and she still has 28 days of cooking left to do! She is going to be one healthy baby! LOL

Here's what they say...

She has big feet like Christian (which makes him very happy!)

She has big cheeks like Daddy...

and she's BEAUTIFUL

Only 28 more days until we meet Little Miss Lily and we sure are getting excited!! :) Another doctor check up to come in 2 weeks!
