August 7th, 2011, 1 Month Old
Toward the end of the first month you started smiling more socially. You have beautiful dimples like Mommy, Daddy's blue eyes and adorable chubby cheeks! We are up to 22 1/4 inches and 11 pounds! :-) Who was worried about weight??

Our First Week Home
These pictures sum up our first week pretty well!

Baby sleeps...we sleep! :-)
Lily had her two week check up on Tuesday, July 26th with Dr. Singh. Lily passed with flying colors gaining weight and weighing in at 9lbs! Woo Hoo! This was a big relief to mommy & daddy because at her first check up on Monday, July 11th Dr. Singh was a little worried that Lily wasn't gaining enough weight. Lily did we know what was to come...lol

Where have the past (almost) 3 months gone??
We spent two days at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where Lily was visited by many friends and family members.

We were supposed to stay until Sunday but Mommy was itching to bring her baby girl home and recovering at a great rate so the doctors allowed us to leave on strict orders that I take it easy for the next two weeks. Who was I fooling? Meee take it easy, not in my vocabulary... Needless to say Supermom pulled a stitch. It was minor though, nothing to worry about! :-) it just freaked Daddy out a little bit... Oops! Other than that my recovery was smooth and Lily was growing stronger and bigger each day! She was lifting her head and controlling her neck much faster than we and the doctors expected.
Take a peek at a few homecoming pictures.

So, a lot has happened since the birth of our precious Lily Pea! Let me catch you all up! :)
Let's start with the beginning. Lily Madison Scully was born on Thursday, July 7th, 2011 @ 11:19am. She weighed 8lbs 8oz and was 20 inches long. She had a head full of beautiful black hair and blueish gray eyes. Lily was wide eyed and ready to meet the world from the moment she was born. Her bright eyes, beautiful smile, and dimples all made her so precious! Daddy was so excited to finally meet her that he couldn't contain himself; he cried. It was a precious moment for our family. <3
Here we go!!!

Here are a few first pictures.

Our Last Pregnant Day...
Well... Tomorrow is the big day!! We are feeling a range of emotions as we head to bed tonight but mostly just calm and excited! Tomorrow we become parents of a sweet baby girl, parents of two! Our whole world will change but in such an amazing way! We feel so blessed and can not wait to welcome our baby girl.
James has taken the next week off of work so we will be able to bring Lily home together and become adjusted to being parents of a newborn. Christian fell asleep super excited tonight, more than ever! He has his hospital bag packed full of goodies for him and gifts for his baby sister. :) He is determined to wake up early with James and I and accompany us to the hospital at 8:00am.
The plan is for us to arrive at the hospital tomorrow at 8:30 to get prepped and finish up any remaining paperwork. The C-Section is scheduled for 11:00am. I am to have nothing to eat or drink after midnight tonight, which will be hard for me with my constant thirst lately. By this time tomorrow night we will be holding our new precious member of the family in our arms. :)
It might be a while before we update the blog with pictures and info but we will do so as soon as we are adjusted and able...until then wish us well!!

37 Weeks, 16 days left to go!!
The countdown is officially on! Lily is growing a mile a minute and my belly just can't keep up with her. These days she practices her skills on my ribs! I'm sure you can imagine that this is not the greatest feeling in the world! However, it does help me keep track of how strong she is getting. Each day she is more and more ready to enter the world. :) It's hard to believe that in just two weeks we will be the parents of a newborn baby girl... I guess we should get in one last date night while we still can. LOL
We had a check up at the doctor's office today where they told us just what we expected, Lily is doing great, strong heartbeat (145 beats), and growing right on track, BUT....is very comfortable in mommy's belly and not at all anxious to leave her current abode. :) So it looks like we are in for the long haul. James and I went for a nice long walk this evening and we intend to keep on walking until Little Miss decides she is ready to enter the world. :)
It's officially summer today, and with school out there is only so much I can do to keep myself occupied at 9 months pregnant so I am really enjoying my creative side while I still have the time & energy to do so! I have been working up an idea for a t-shirt for Christian for some time now but the design just wouldn't come to me, until today! The trick was to design something not too kiddish and quite boy. I think it came out pretty well. What do you think??

Bye-Bye Tundra
This weekend James said good-bye to his love, the Tundra, and hello to his new love, the Sorento! Ever since we met James has loved his Tundra like no other car he's had but lately the Tundra has been a little more than we can handle. The economy alone has made it hard to drive the truck with gas prices at all time highs, but the gas we had under control, the troubles came with the maintenance. So, James did some searching and absolutely fell in love with the 2011 Sorento. Buying a new car at this point was scary for us but luckily we know a few great people who really made the whole experience easy for us! We never thought we would own a Kia but you should see the smile on James' face! It sure is his pride and joy...for the next 3 weeks anyway until his little girl arrives :)
Here's the new ride! Definitely a family car and pretty luxurious if I do say so myself! :) As you can see, it didn't take long for him to dress her up! :) GO NOLES!
We will miss you Tundra...

Summer of Learning :)
So I have had this idea in mind for quite some time now...I've seen these cute little stickers all over the internet and I just had to make some for Lily! The only question was could I really do it! LOL I enjoy playing on PhotoShop but my self taught abilities only go so far! :) I will admit it was stressful, and it sure took some time, but I DID IT!!
Take a look!! I made them all the way through 12 months...
Once I got the hang of the idea I couldn't make one for Lily without making one for her cousins as well!
Now we just need these precious little babies to arrive so we can doll them up!!
